I don't really understand what it means by natural. Aren't all the carton-packed broths natural?

Not all the carton-packed liquid broths are natural. Therefore, just because it is liquid it doesn't mean it is natural. That's why it is very important that you spend a few seconds reading in detail the list of ingredients. At Aneto we only use fresh vegetables, free-range chicken, Serrano ham, fresh meats and monkfish. We do not use concentrates, aromas, flavourings or preservatives. And with regard to the process, it is practically an artisan elaboration; the only differences are the amounts and the size of our pot.

The chicken broth is very nice but -How can you convince me, a part from with your word, that the chicken you use is truly a free range chicken and not a farm chicken?

At Aneto we are very proud of the ingredients we use and of the elaboration process of our natural broths. We believe that the best way to convince you that we truly do use free-range chicken is for you to try it. Why if the broth is Natural like the one made at home does it keep for 8 months?

Because at Aneto we submit the broth to the same process that milk is submitted to, for it to keep without having to add any preservatives.

This process is named UHT process (Ultra High Temperature) and consists in boiling at high temperatures.

Is it suitable for celiac people?

Yes. Aneto NATURAL broths do not contain gluten. All the corresponding analyses have been performed. You may also consult it at the FACE. Gluten is a vegetal protein found in cereals such as wheat and barley. There are many food products that contain these cereals as well as several additives. At Aneto we do not use any type of additive because the broth is completely natural. We do not use any ingredient containing gluten either. Nevertheless, if you are celiac, always consult your doctor.

Can my child have this broth? From what month? Can children have any broth?

Above all, you must consult this information with your child's pediatrician. In general, your child can start to have broth at 6 months of age. He/she can have the free-range chicken NATURAL broth or the vegetable broth. And at eight months of age, children can then have Serrano ham broth.

Children can have any of the three varieties, as a consommé or adding pasta or rice or wheat semolina.

Is it low-calorie? Can I have it if I am on a diet?

You must consult it with the doctor who established your diet, although in general terms, the Aneto NATURAL Broth is low-calorie and very nutritious. Look carefully at the nutritional information when purchasing a broth. You will find a detail of all the ingredients and amounts.

Nevertheless, if you are on a diet we recommend our new LOW-SALT chicken broth.

Is it true that your broth is the only natural broth?

According to the information we have available today, yes. Aneto is the only carton-packed completely natural broth in the market.

Can Aneto broth be frozen?

Yes. In the same way you freeze broth when making it at home and it keeps all its flavour and aroma when defrosted, you can do with Aneto broth.

I am vegetarian and I would like to know if I can have the vegetable broth.

You can consume it safely because Aneto does not use any animal fat to prepare the NATURAL vegetable broth. It exclusively uses the ingredients specified on the carton. Specifically the vegetable broth is made with: Water, onions, carrots, leeks, celeries, olive oil, salt. Nothing else.
